Thank you for supporting ALL Brick and Mortar yarn stores!
We are happy to announce that Needles & Pins will be offering a "one of a kind" gathering group called "Around the World in Stitches"! We are so lucky to have Bette of BB Knits as not only the brains behind this group, but she will be the leader of the group! We are so lucky to have her generosity and knowledge.
In March we are going to explore the evolution of French knitting and Crocheters are welcome to join in on the fun too! We have a got a tool that allows you to participate too! The sample stitching we will do this month gives us immense flexibility to make an item that is either very traditional or if you dare, to make a "statement piece".
The hope is to focus on a different country each month, however, some countries may take a bit longer. We will learn some of the history of fiber arts in that country, and we will knit (crochet or felt) a sampler piece while practicing the methods traditionally used.
Participation in the event is FREE with your purchase of the monthly materials from Needles & Pins. If you choose to supply your own materials, the fee for the month of February will be $20.00/person. The monthly participation fee may change from month to month depending on the materials needed.
We will meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month from 6:00-8:00 pm We would appreciate it if you would give us a call or email today to get your name on the list! Register through our website if you plan to bring your own materials.
Are you looking to be part of a "close knit fiber group"? Well we have just the place for you! Come and join us for some Social Stitching Time!
